Dynasty Warriors 3 - The Siege of He Fei Castle | Yuan Shao (Very Hard)

Yuan Shao is one of the best characters, high defense, ruler moveset, his C6 comes out really fast and hits all around him. Just an extremely safe character to use that excels all-around. It's telling that his C6 got nerfed in DW4, it had a slower charge up animation for it, but it's still extremely good.

This stage is a bit of a pain. You need to protect both Lu Bu and Diaochan or are at opposite ends of the map. Lu Bu has it easier, being Lu Bu, but he does get ambushed when you are away from him. The enemies there are Sun Ce's troops, who is at a commander with max morale, so they are a pain to deal with. Luckily Lu Bu does get his own set of reinforcements at his position that help.

I went to the right side to save Zhang Liao against Lu Meng, but he died just before I got there. It's probably best to go to the left where Gan Ning isn't as aggressive.

Approaching Sun Ce will trigger the archer ambush. Not a problem with Yuan Shao, his ability to lock down an officer and crowds is too great that he is able to get out of a lot of fights unscathed.
