In O Level Physics (5054) paper 1, you have 40 compulsory questions. You have to attempt all the questions.

Some details regarding the questions discussed in this video are:

Question 11: Remember that density is equal to mass divided by volume.

Question 12: Kinetic energy is equal to half, multiplied by the mass and the square of the speed. I have used this formula to solve the question.

Question 13: Gravitational potential energy is equal to mass multiplied by the gravity multiplied by height (mgh).

Question 14: Total pressure will be equal to the atmospheric pressure + the pressure on the fish below the surface of the lake.

Question 15: Note that the pressure acts vertically (or should be perpendicular to the surface). Therefore, we have taken the vertical value (60 mm) for reference.

Question 16: You have to use two formula's over here. 1.) Power = energy / time. 2.) Gravitational potential energy = mgh

Question 17: For your ease, I have used the third equation of motion which says: 2gh = vf^2 - vi^2 (modified form). (vf = final velocity and vi = initial velocity).

Question 18: Nuclear fusion is a reaction in which two or more atomic nuclei are combined to form one or more different atomic nuclei and subatomic particles (releases massive energy).

Question 19: Work done = force (F) x distance moved in the direction of force (r).

Question 20: Fact

Question 21: (Properties) Black surfaces are poor reflectors of heat. They absorb most of the heat radiations which are falling on them. A black body has max absorptivity.

Question 22: As temperature increases, the kinetic energy of particles also increase. As a result, internal energy increases as well.

Question 23: Energy = mass x specific heat capacity.

Question 24: LIquids have fixed volume but not a fixed shape because it has less force of attraction. This is the property of liquids. The molecules of the liquids are loosely packed. So, the liquid can take the shape of the container.

Question 25: density and volume are inversely proportional (if one increase, the other decreases and vice versa). Greater pressure means less volume and less temperature means less volume.
