Visit Gyumri, Armenia 🇦🇲 - Armenian Medieval City

Hello Friends and Travelers from around the WORLD!

We are going to visit a medieval city of Gyumri here in northwestern Armenia! The city had many names throughout its history, beginning with Kumayri before it was changed to Alexandropol. In 1992, when Armenia gained its independence from Soviet Union, the name Gyumri was chosen.

The city is rich in history, beautiful buildings and architecture that remind you of the city's past, and friendly people! I will be taking you around the city showcasing some of the top attractions to see here in Gyumri as well as few lesser known spots! I hope you're excited to see more of Armenia, let's go!

Մենք պատրաստվում ենք այցելել միջնադարյան Գյումրի քաղաք՝ այստեղ՝ հյուսիս-արևմտյան Հայաստանում։ Քաղաքն իր պատմության ընթացքում բազմաթիվ անվանումներ է ունեցել՝ սկսած Կումայրիից մինչև Ալեքսանդրապոլ դառնալը։ 1992 թվականին, երբ Հայաստանը անկախացավ Խորհրդային Միությունից, ընտրվեց Գյումրի անունը
