Frisco, Colorado, a mountain town in the heart of ski country with year-round visitors, was looking for a way to highlight their local businesses and make it easy for visitors and residents to find what they need.

CodeGeek built them a custom Laravel web application that interacts with the town’s business licensing system.

WHAT THIS WEB APP CAN DO:
The town can import businesses via an import tool that maps the data from a CSV file to the business listing fields and lets them know if any errors occur.

Those listings then appear on the town’s website where users can search and filter by many dimensions to find businesses to meet their needs. That filtering is almost instantaneous, which allows users to quickly find what they're looking for.

With more than 250 listings on the site, it was very important that the businesses themselves be able to update their listings directly to help the town manage the volume of requests.

WHO THIS WEB APP SERVES:
The Town of Frisco is a long-running client of ours with several websites in a complex site ecosystem. This web application is the latest addition to that ecosystem, which receives tens of thousands of web visitors each month.
