It was our last day in Surat, and after a fun visit to the mall (check out the previous video if you missed it!), we still had some time before our flight at 8:50 PM. So we decided to make a quick trip to Dumas Beach, which is quite close to the Surat airport.

We reached there around sunset, expecting a peaceful view — but were shocked to see a massive crowd, it literally felt like a mini Kumbh Mela! Still, we went ahead to check out the beach. To our surprise, the smell at the beach was really unpleasant, and the sand was pitch black — not something you usually see at beaches.

Later, while researching for this video’s voice-over, I discovered something shocking: Dumas Beach is considered one of the most haunted places in India! 😨
Apparently, the beach was once a Hindu burial ground, and many believe that's why the sand is black. Locals say people hear mysterious sounds and even see ghosts after sunset — including stories of women's voices calling out. Had I known this earlier, I might have skipped this trip!

After the eerie beach visit, we headed back to the airport, got freshened up, only to find out that our flight was delayed. We waited patiently, and finally boarded at 10:30 PM and made it back home to Hyderabad.
