The Last of Us: Episode 1 [When You're Lost in the Darkness] ✦ First Time Watching Reaction

This is my TV series reaction and review of my first time watching Episode 1 in Season 1 of HBO's The Last of Us, called When You're Lost in the Darkness. Seeing Joel and Ellie in live-action, portrayed by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, was so incredible and emotional and this episode already proves that this is the best video game adaptation to exist so far. My reactions to this TV series will be spoiler-free, as I know the story well but I do not want to ruin this for those of you who may be experiencing it for the first time. Sarah's death scene hit just as hard as it does in the video game and I thought that it was so much more impactful in live action. I'm so excited for what Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann have in store for us in the next episode.
