This virtual roundtable will convene experts to discuss model policies and programs to support survivors of conflict-related sexual violence, including children. The convening will review efforts to provide wartime reparations and financial, physical, and psychological support, as codified into law in Ukraine; legal recognition of survivors as civilian victims of war—including children born of wartime rape—as prescribed in Bosnia and Herzegovina; and other solutions to ensure that survivors can recover and thrive, including through programs that offer economic empowerment and other social supports.
