Toilet Flange Repairs in Cement Offset Toilet Flange

Описание к видео Toilet Flange Repairs in Cement Offset Toilet Flange

What happens when a toilet pipe comes up through a concrete floor in the wrong place. International Plumbing Code and Uniform Plumbing Code both have specific requirements for the distance of a fixture from side walls, or other fixtures, and a toilet pipe has to be a specific distance from the back wall in order for the toilet to set properly. When the toilet pipe comes up through the floor in the wrong place, it has to be offset or moved.

If the toilet pipe is only a few inches off of center, then you can use an offset flange. This involves breaking out some concrete around the pipe and installing an offset flange.

If the toilet pipe is more than a few inches off of center, a much larger whole must be made in the floor and the fittings below will need to be adjusted.

Watch as Plumber-Tom demonstrates both scenarios, and makes corrections to the toilet pipes coming through the floor for the perfect finish.

Remember, no one is perfect. But one of the great things about life is that it gives us the chance to try again and make things right!
