The first show featured Japanese varieties of the orchid genus Calanthe. This video goes into a fair amount of basic detail about the forms grown in Japan today. The second show was more of a local event, however, it was chock full of native Japanese orchids including Calanthe, Dendrobium moniliforme, plus several more.
