Just before 3 a.m. on a cool, Autumn night in 2016, a family in Jacksonville, Florida awoke to the noise of loud banging on their front door. Confused and a little frightened, they unlocked and opened their door to the surprise visitor.

In the few minutes that followed, their lives were forever changed.

A beloved husband had been killed, leaving a frightened widow and a shocked teenage daughter as the only witnesses. Neither one of them had seen the killer’s face and both would be shocked when the killer's identity was eventually revealed.
