Adrian Neville made his debut on NXT in January 2013 against Sakamoto. Neville hit Sakamoto with the red arrow to win the match. Next week, Shawn Michaels introduced the NXT Tag Team titles and announced a tournament for it. In the first round, Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre faced The British Ambition, Neville and Oliver Grey. Neville hit Drew with the Red Arrow to advance. Two weeks later in the semi-final, Kassius Ohno and Leo Kruger faced The British Ambition. Neville hit Kassius with The Red Arrow to advance. Next week in the final, British Ambition faced Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Neville hit Harper with the Red Arrow for the win and they became the first tag team champions of NXT. Three weeks later, Neville said Oliver just disappeared and he will face Judas Devlin and Scott Dawson alone. The Wyatt Family dragged Oliver out. Neville kicked Devlin in the face and hit Dawson with the Red Arrow to win the match, then he rushed to check on Oliver. Next week, Neville challenged the Wyatt Family. A week later, Harper accepted. Bray Wyatt distracted the ref, Neville kicked Erik in the face, Harper threw Neville off and hit him with a Discus Lariat to win the match.
