Reptiles & Amphibians of Georgia

Georgia is the land of snakes! It seems like every corner of the country has its own species of viper laying around.

In 2022 we went on a little field trip in order to track down all the species of vipers in the country. During our travels we got side tracked and traveled down to the mountains of Armenia to find the elusive Armenian viper (Montivipera raddei)!

Our field trip to Georgia (and Armenia) was epic and we can't wait to go back soon!
