#72. My mother used to play this song (on vinyl) when I was younger... I remember thinking what a beautiful song and that Nicola Di Bari sounded like an Italian Neil Diamond. I also thought Elvis would've liked this song, the feel, the melody and the words. He most likely would've cut it English, I would've loved to hear how he would have arranged and interpreted it. What do you think?
My Italian isn't so good these days, so I hope I didn't mess it up too badly! Shoutout to my fellow Italian friends... and anyone else who feels the beautiful sentiment in this timeless melody.
