Donkey Kong II Jumpman Returns Arcade Review

Описание к видео Donkey Kong II Jumpman Returns Arcade Review

Here's a look at a very special, unofficial sequel to Nintendo's Donkey Kong, it's Donkey Kong II Jumpman Returns. (D2K for short!)

Back in 2008 we met the man behind the game, Jeff Kulczycki. As a home Donkey Kong owner he had wanted to put in a freeplay option since the original DK won't allow you to. While he was in the code he also worked in a high score save kit, so the top five scores are always saved.

While he was working on the Freeplay and High Score Save kit he was looking in the original code of the game and found out how to create his own levels in the game. After three and a half years of programming on his own the game was finally finished and if you own any version of a home Donkey Kong you too can play it!

Jeff added a lot to this new version of the game. There's four brand new levels upping the total to eight. They are, The Foundry, The Refinery, The Incinerator and The Mixer...which I wasn't able to reach in this play through.

He also added in a million digit to the score. So no more rollovers! The kill screen is also a thing of the past in D2K so you can marathon the game as long as you can!

Nothing to the original game was altered and you can freely select between the two games by holding down on the 1 and 2 player start button. The kit will add free play to both games, save the top five best scores on both games and of course add D2K! All for 80 bucks! If you'd like to know more, hit the link below!
