Mac84: The TRUTH about the iMac G3 DV - Debunking ShortCircuit's Video

In this video I'll be spreading some truth about the iMac G3. Alex, from the ShortCircuit YouTube Channel, made a video about his iMac G3 DV model. Unfortunately, there was a ton of incorrect information in it! So in this video we're going to be responding to Alex's claims. I'm not doing this response video to be smug or a know-it-all. I feel like Alex missed the mark in some technical areas which gives this computer a bad image. Alex did get some things right, but in this video I'd like to help debunk what was wrong.

Correction:
-The first iMacs from 1998 had ATI IIc and ATI Rage Pro graphics chipsets, not ATI Rage 128 chipsets, those were in later models.

-Not all iMac G3 models were discontinued in January 2002. It seems only the 700MHz model was discontinued in order to not directly complete with the iMac G4 and the eMac. Apple still sold the 500MHz and 600MHz models until early 2003. The 600MHz "Snow" model was the last iMac G3 model available, and was discontinued around March 2003.
