The big factor as to why fitness effects your ability to perform better in bed has to be down to positive effects on serum testonsterone levels provided by the preservation and indeed the generation of muscle tissue.

You know when you were 20 and you were able to get back up and last in bed but now you're in your mid to late 30s and beyond and you struggle? Well that's down to testosterone loss and a big factor of that is a loss of muscle tissue as you age.
