We spend the afternoon at Williams site and take it to the next level. This location is the one we have been working recently and having great results.. Settled here in New Hampshire at some point during the 1700's up until the early 1800's this home site has been gone pretty much 200 years. All that is left is the cellar hole and footprint where the house once was. We have been metal detecting here for the last couple weeks using the Garrett ATGOLD & ATPRO and having great results, but now its tine to dig in deeper. We brought rakes and other tools to clean up the cellar hole and dig down deeper into the dirt to see what we can find. It took getting down below one foot deep to start seeing lots of artifacts like pottery, window glass and other glazed items. Other pieces we dug up like old buttons, iron tools, pewter spoons and shoe buckle parts.
