Pivot Ramp

In this video we explore the idea of a vector changing platform as a launch ramp for our differing scales of RC cars and trucks. This is an idea we've discussed for some time now and feel the time has come to explore this idea further. From prototype to finished product, we test these ramps to see if they are a viable solution to car weight vs velocity to gain altitude without imparting as much impact upon the vehicle in use. For anyone who's laid a road sign over a cinderblock and jumped it with an RC car, this ramp should be right up your alley. However, all is not smooth sailing either. Angle and power used at the ramp and speed, of course, all play a role in the trajectory of the car or truck in use.
