In 1998, EUROGINE, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the Center for Technological and Industrial Development, developed the only IUD that has a copper wire with a gold core.
The incorporation of the gold core, like the silver core in other IUD models, provides greater resistance to fragmentation for the copper wire.
In addition, the GOLD T® offers an adjustable insertion system that provides a high degree of precision in the placement of the IUD and, by means of a safety piston, reduces the risk of perforation.
• 99.99% pure copper wire with a 0.1 mm diameter gold core that provides greater resistance to fragmentation of the copper wire
