Persona 3 Reload, the remake of the loved-by-many 3rd entry in ATLUS' Persona Series, is finally out.
So what am I doing? Well, I'm clearly not playing it of course!
Since I don't have access to it, I'm playing Persona 3 Portable (which I bought on a discount last November), with mods.

Before continuing with this description, I'd like to address the elephant in the room.
"Lunos, did you seriously need to record a video showing how a literal PSP game runs? It could run on a toaster!"
No, I just wanted to do it.

With that out of the way... man, I'm not going to be able to pour my feelings on this """remaster""" with Youtube's limit of characters.
The sound effects and the Japanese voice acting sound bad in terms of audio quality, the game uses worse models than P3 FES (when ATLUS could have at least ported over its models and tweak up the Female MC's), it doesn't have basic QoL features such as Manual Skill Inheritance, the prerendered backgrounds look terribad, the character portraits lack polishing (protip: look at the outlines of the character sprites, that's a dead giveaway), and then there's obviously a whole bunch of other things to say in relation to P3F VS P3P.

I don't really have anything else to add. The game works, it runs perfectly, and I would not expect anything else, because again; it's literally a PSP game.
(I wouldn't call it remastered though. Not by any stretch of the word. Not in a million fucking years.)

Oh yeah, I did mention I'm using mods. That's partly to solve many of the issues I mentioned above, though I grabbed a few original QoL features-inducing mods along the way like "Find A Friend".
