The #2 Alabama Crimson Tide traveled to Faurot Field in Columbia, MO to face the Missouri Tigers in the 2020 season opener for both teams. After their meeting in 2018, Missouri and Alabama were not scheduled to play again for many years. But, like every team, Alabama's 2020 schedule was completely reformatted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Alabama's spring practices and A-Day game were cancelled, as were games against USC, Georgia State, Kent State, and UT-Martin. Alabama will play a 10 game, conference only schedule, their fewest regular season games since 1969. Alabama's September 26th start is the team's latest kickoff to a season since 1945.
