Huneshwar devta is an avatar of lord shiva.
As per the belief he came along with the herd, who protects all the cattles from wild animals.
he established himself a homely god of Panwar clans. and today he is homely god of Saundal clans currently known as nautiyal.

Slowly and gradually people started worshipping him during the 18th Century.
and then Huneshwar emerge as a god of gods amoung all the villages of bhilangna constituency in uttarakhand.

This is also said that, this is the 5th generation of saundal that is holding the God signature Doli and by 7th generation Huneshwar will sit back to Panwar calns.

He is the master God among the 7 Villages.
i.e., Jyundana, pukhar, chelli, kuthar, budvaun, sod, lani.

He is so powerful and so popular that people comes for his blessings from far of districts and inter states. Via his blessing, he can purge you from bad evils and bad souls.

The God Signature Doli is lifted by two person on shoulders and make him happy by dancing and singing. Huneshwar feel very happy when people dance with him and he also start dancing.
His dance is known as 'Diwansu' . Spefcific Beats of dhol damo he get so happy that people who is dancing with him gets tired of holding him on shoulders.

Lot of songs being released on his blessings and lot of festive event known as 'Tholus' organized by different villages at different times. Whenever any village suffer from natural clamity, draught, dry, flood, rain they all enchant him and he help to balance the nature and help villagers.

Among the people of villages he is just like the member of their family, He go cranky sometime when people do false promises or forget their promises. He sometime act as path finder for their misery.

He care about all their devotees and help everyone by balancing the financial condition as well.
