Personal protection devices commonly known as powerheads come in a variety of styles. Common powerheads used are disposable plastic slip on, re-usable metal slip on, and screw on models with firing pin action. Each has a specific use and pricepoint to meet the protection needs of the diver. Powerheads are commonly used for killing large fish and for protection from even larger predators.
