About this video: Applying for a student visa to study in Australian universities, colleges or vocational institutes requires to follow certain steps. Due to change in Australia student visa policy or new migration policy in 2024, the process of applying for Australian student visa has changed. So students who has completed HSC in Bangladesh looking for Australian student visa to study in Australia needs to follow new steps in 2024. In this video I discussed about what is new in the new migration reforms strategy of Australia. Many believes that getting an Australia student visa will become hard and difficult after the new visa rules or immigration rules in 2024. But is the fear real or just a falls alarm. Many also saying the IELTS or PTE or generally the points in English test requirement will be higher. Some also thinking the student visa applicants wil get visa refusal if they have a study gap. So what are the changes really and how these are going to effect student visa applicants in 2024? In this video I discussed the key point and the action points in the new visa policy or migration strategy and whether these are going tp make it hard to get an Australian student visa in coming days.
Also discussed the new student and student guardian visa application processing priority, that Australia government has declared. These information can be found in the Australian immigration department, department of home affairs official website.
The usual steps apply for an Australia student visa remains unchanged with the new visa rules or new immigration policy in 2024. Which are to search the Australian college and or universities offering that course and the course fee or cost of study, then applying for Australian student visa after gathering the required documents. Usually the documents required to apply for studying in Australian universities or colleges are: SSC & HSC certificates, Passport, GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) IELTS or PTE or any other form of English proficiency test result. In the GTE or SOP (Statement of purpose) document the student needs to provide his / her reason to study in Australia into that particular university or college and the course. sometimes it also asks whether the student has enough fund to cover all his / her cost of study in Australia and to cover the living cost in Australia as an international student. The next step of applying for Australian student visa is to apply to the Australian university or college directly or through an education agent. Then the university issues an offer letter to the suitable student. The student then needs to accept the offer and pay part of the tuition fee of the course he / she wants to study in Australia. Usually it is one semester fee of the course. Once the Australian college or university gets the payment and acceptance of the offer letter, they issue the confirmation of enrolment or CoE, which the student needs to apply for an Australian student visa online through immi account on the Australian immigration department’s (department of Home Affairs) website. The student also needs to get Overseas Student’s Health Cover or OHSC insurance before applying for an Australian student visa.
