Waterfalls, Lakes and Suspension Bridge.

Explore Upper Kananaskis Lake located in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. The lake is a part of a series of natural and man made lakes in the Kananaskis and Bow Valley used for hydro electric power, flood control and water reserves. - Wikipedia

The hiking trail is a 15.3 km loop which you can start either in the Upper Kananaskis Day Use Area or from the North Interlakes Day Use. Be mesmerized by the beauty of the stunning blue/green waters and by the towering view of Mt. Indefatigable, Mt. Lyautey, Mt. Sarrail, Gap Mountain and Pocaterra to name a few.

Driving back to Calgary, we decided to stop by the Black Shale Suspension Bridge located in Smith Dorrien Trail. There is a trail across the road from Black Prince starting from the sign showing "High Rockies Trail". This is about 7.1 km, for an easy accent you can drive about 3.2 km E from Black Prince, there is a bridge bypass trail leading to the suspension bridge.

Make sure to bring a bear spray with you on your hike, you are in K Country. Sure enough we saw a Grizzly with her cubs on our way back to Calgary.
