Wiper arm nuts 14 ft/lbs
Strut top nuts 29 ft/lbs
Lower strut bolt/nut 113 ft/lbs
Sway bar link nut 55 ft/lbs
Brake line bracket bolt 14 ft/lbs
Metal cowl bolts 9 ft/lbs
Wheels / Lug nuts (all wheels) 76 ft/lbs

In this video, I’ll show you how to install new struts and a lift kit on a 2006 Toyota Prius (Gen 2). This is the next step in transforming the Prius into a more capable, durable, and offroad vehicle. I’ll walk through the tools, torque specs, installation steps, and real-world tips to make this upgrade smooth and safe.

What I would do differently:
I wouldn’t do anything different for the install!
I would have wanted to get the additional springs from Priusoffroad
OR get the full integrated lift kit struts (XW20 by redline)
