David Carradine was an American actor, born December 8, 1936 in Hollywood, California, USA and died June 4, 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand. He was the son of John Carradine and half-brother of Keith Carradine and Robert Carradine. He appeared as Caine (or "Grasshopper") in the TV series 'Kung Fu' (1972-75), and in Ingmar Bergman's German movie 'The Serpent's Egg' in 1977. At the time, to promote the album, he appeared on the UK chat show Russell Harty. After insisting that he and Harty should sit on the floor, he spent several minutes of the 'interview' tuning his guitar to the bemusement of his host. Eventually, he played the first track from this album.
