Return to Hafren Forest - Break Its Neck Falls - Walking in Mid Wales: Part 7

This was our last walk of our holiday. We decided to return to Hafren Forest because we enjoyed our first visit so much. This was a shorter walk but certainly was just as beautiful as the first - the forest has so much to offer and is the perfect place to absorb all of the beauty of Mid Wales. What attracted us to this particular walk was the 'Break its Neck Falls' waterfall, and we were not disappointed... this waterfall was fantastic and being able to be so close to it was perfect! The walk itself was so scenic and picturesque, following a route along the River Severn along a magical winding path full of wildlife. A boardwalk takes you through the boggy fields before entering into the best wildflower meadow I've ever seen! It was so absolutely full of pollinators - I could've spent hours just watching the bees and butterflies. If we return to this part of Wales, Hafren Forest would be top of our list.
