Tinkering time on the 1931 Buick and a couple of test drives, plus the '47 Dodge pickup gets an airing, we head out to admire a couple of late 1800s penny farthing bicycles "in action", and I talk about recent car boot sale finds relating to classic cars in this Old Classic Car video.
The plates on the Buick weren't really suitable for UK roads so that's one of the first things I was keen to address. I also wanted to check it over prior to taking it to a meet so we take it for a couple of proving runs first, and while we're at it we took the 1947 Dodge WC for a trundle down the lanes, trying to imagine what it was like to run it around California in the late 1940s.
A regular bicycle ride saw a couple of penny farthing owners making the trip over so I was keen to grab some footage of them in action, and I round out the video with a look at several interesting car boot sale collectables relating to old cars and working on them.
