2013 Ford Explorer 2.0 Serpentine Belt Replacement

Описание к видео 2013 Ford Explorer 2.0 Serpentine Belt Replacement

Here's a general explanation on how to replace the serpentine belt on the 2013 Ford Explorer XLT 2.0 Turbo. The steps below should help walk you through it in better detail. Removing the two plastic fasteners on the lower flap of the wheel well splash guard is strongly recommended.
1st: Take 1/2" Ratchet and torque the tensioner pulley to create enough slack to remove the belt from the small pulley located above the a/c compressor.
2nd: Slowly release the pressure from the tensioner pulley. Then, use a 10mm socket or wrench to remove the two bolts that attach the tensioner pulley. This allows you to remove the tensioner pulley and the serpentine belt completely.
3rd: Insert the belt over the tensioner pulley, then bolt the tensioner pulley back into place.
4th: Run the serpentine belt around all the pulleys system in the proper configuration, i.e. harmonic balancer, a/c compressor, etc. with the final pulley being the one directly above the a/c compressor.
5th: With the 1/2" Ratchet, torque the tensioner pulley to slack the new serpentine belt enough to get it over the small pulley located directly above the a/c compressor. It will be tight, so you'll have to apply substantial pressure.
6th: So a visual inspection of the belt from above the engine as well as below to ensure that the belt is sitting properly on all pulleys. Once that's confirmed, start the engine up and let it run for a minute to ensure proper installation. Should be good to go if you installed the belt properly.

I hope this helps. Best of luck! Leave a thumbs up if it was helpful. Thanks.
