Pansy Division at the Aragon Ballroom, Chicago, opening for Green Day, 11-18-94

The year that changed our lives, 1994. Green Day had just captivated the world with "Dookie" and we were their opening act for most of the year. At the time, MTV was still the primary way to discover music and capturing Green Day live was a top priority for them. This show was scheduled to be the one they would film and they used us as a video/audio test. This is that footage, edited on the fly, you can even hear the mix change while we're playing. MTV later used some of this footage for the MTV News piece on 'Queercore.' That's Danny Panic from Screeching Weasel on drums. Originally released on a bonus DVD as part of the Essential Pansy Division CD (Alternative Tentacles 2005).
