Young Chimps Playing With A Log

It is a beautiful day in the North West of England and the chimps are outside making the most of the early Spring sun. Stevie and Annie are full of fun and are finding a fallen log to be a great source of amusement. They know time is limited before the keepers confiscate it.

Chester Zoo has an amazing troop of Western Chimpanzee's. The oldest is Boris at 56 years old Born 1966 and the youngest is Jeff who was born December 2022

Most of the chimps featured in this video, have appeared in the popular nature documentary series, shown on TV called The Secret Life Of The Zoo.
This animal documentary series was first aired on TV in 2016 and has run for 10 seasons from 2016 - 2021
