We start by covering the simple application of the ADDRESS function to return the addresses of various cells. Since the default setting of the address function is to apply absolute references, in example 2 we cover how to apply relative references to our addresses. In example 3, we cover how to convert the address into R1C1 format and add the sheet name in front of it. Finally, we show how to use the ROW and COLUMN functions together with the Address function which makes it easier to retrieve the addresses of many cells quickly.
