As part of an Annual Event, this year’s Intermediaries Appreciation Cocktail Dinner came with much anticipation after a gap of 3 years. Since then, GA Insurance’s success has continued to skyrocket. The company’s gross written premium reached a whopping Ksh. 11Billion in 2021, a 41% increase from the previous year. Along with this, GA saw a 57% underwriting profit growth and a 47% PBT growth resulting in them being the 3rd top General Insurance Company in the market according to the Insurance Regulatory Authority that released the Sector’s results.

With this overall growth, GA Insurance managed to scoop 6 Awards in the recently held Think Business Insurance Awards. These are;
1. General Insurer of the Year Award- Winner
2. CEO of the Year Award- Winner
3. Major Loss Award- Winner
4. Most Customer Centric Underwriter Award- Winner
5. Risk Manager of the Year Award- Winner
6. Claim Settlement Award- 2nd runners up
It is safe to say that GA Insurance had every reason to celebrate this year and none of its success would be possible without its loyal Intermediaries, reinsurers and service providers. Guests were hosted at the 1 Park Avenue rooftop where they were greeted by the beautiful Nairobi skyline during sunset.
