How to Change Front Brake Pads on Ford Mondeo Mk4 - 2007 and newer

I show you how to change the front brake pads on a Ford Mondeo Mk4 model year 2013. The same steps should work for the pre-facelift model 2007-2010 as well. I would expect the steps to be very similar on the Mk5 Ford Mondeo / Ford Fusion sold in the US.

I go over the steps for completing the brake job:
Removing the metal spring clip from the brake caliper
Removing the caliper slide bolts
Removing the caliper
Removing the old brake pads and cleaning rust off from caliper bracket
Compressing the caliper piston


What you will need:
New brake pads for your car model
Work gloves
Lug wrench (Telescoping lug wrench is my preference)
Jack (Floor Jack is my preference)
Jack stands
Wheel chock (Piece of wood for example)
Socket wrench
Copper anti-seize
Silicone paste
