This ingenious holder costs nothing to make, but keeps your Numnuts device safely upright during lamb marking.

It's made from an old Elastrator® rings tub. Simply cut off the screw thread with a Stanley knife, then cut out a rectangular section the full width and half the depth of the bar code. Flare the edges to make it even easier to put the Numnuts device in place. Then trim off any sharp parts.

This table top holder can be screwed onto a wooden base for stability, or fixed to the oil drum or table next to the lamb marking cradle.

Another solution is to Araldite it to a magnetic bowl, so that it magnetises to the oil drum or another metal surface.
