Rocklab has joined forces with the Philharmonie to give young people an extraordinary opportunity to make music together, with or without prior knowledge, and even to record it in professional conditions!

The «Join a Band!» series of workshops offers an opportunity for music beginners and amateur musicians alike to be part of a real-life band from the rehearsal room to the stage and the recording studio. Three practice sessions are dedicated to melody, groove, and playing a part as a band. The final concert will bring together all participants and teachers, presenting a show blending jazz and electronic music. In order to introduce the participants to the fascinating world of music production and give them the possibility to experience firsthand how a recording studio operates a dedicated recording session at the Rocklabstudio at Rockhal will take place as the final step of the project.

La série de workshops «Join a Band!» propose à des non musiciens et passionnés de musique la possibilité de devenir membre d’un groupe. Au fil de trois séances de pratique, il est question de mélodie, de groove et de jouer dans un ensemble. Le concert final rassemble tous les participants et professeurs. Une session d’enregistrement sera aussi proposée au Rocklabstudio de la Rockhal, où les participants pourront découvrir par eux-mêmes le fonctionnement d’un studio d’enregistrement.
