This is just about the easiest table saw crosscut sled I can think of. It uses a single 24"x24"x1/2" MDF panel (though you could use any kind of sheet goods you like), some cyanoacrylate glue, and 6-10 wood screws (depending on your mood). To get the fence square to the blade, I use a simple carpenter's square clamped to the base.
