Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Championship Parade on the Beach (6.30.24)

Some clips of the championship parade on State Road A1A on Fort Lauderdale Beach celebrating the Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup victory from my location about 50 yards south of the world famous Elbo Room.

The morning started out hot and steamy and then the heavens opened with lightning and thunderstorms delaying the start of the parade from 11:00am to around 11:40am.

The constant rain during the parade didn't damper the spirits of all for the fans that were gathered.

Loved seeing Sergei Bobrovsky walking down A1A in the rain holding the Stanley Cup high in the air.

There was, lets say a lot of alcohol consumed and sprayed today both on the parade route and on the top of the double decker buses.

The parade continued on southwards on A1A for another quarter mile where there was stage for all of the speeches, etc.
