Iran attack: thousands celebrate on the streets of Tehran

People took to the street of Tehran to celebrate the first direct attack Iran has launched against Israel. It was in retaliation, they say, for the strike on their consulate in Damascus that killed several officers of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps.

About 300 explosive drones and cruise missiles were fired in the first direct attack from Iran on its arch-enemy, which also involved its proxy groups in Lebanon and Yemen.

Israel has vowed to respond.
