ECHO Red Armor Oil Challenge - Premium 2 Stroke Oil

Hey gang, today we are doing a quick highlight on the Red Armor oil by ECHO. We accepted their Red Armor Oil challenge, where we are going to use nothing but Red Armor for the next 60-90 days in a piece of our equipment. The idea here is to see how much of the engine it cleans up internally, and also how much power is returned back to the unit with the premium oil.

My guinea pig test unit is my old Redmax 260TS string trimmer. This thing is 2, going on 3 seasons old if I'm not mistaken. Definitely one of my favorite trimmers, but we haven't used it since last summer when ECHO sent us their 2620 trimmer.

They sent us a case of oil to to use, and also a tachometer to measure the rpm of the engine. You can see the photos of the engine internals so far, so this will be our baseline. I am excited to see where things improve and see how clean the engine looks with the Red Armor oil challenge.
