2024.08.18 N swell sheboygan all afternoon, great lakes surfing

got down there in the afternoon and saw some nice sized waves when i pulled up so thought the mini super would be a fun start. paddled out during an off phase of the swell & struggled which threw off my mindset a bit. sat more inside and got mostly close outs. switched boards a couple times and did catch a bunch but didnt get any stand out rides or anything. the waves that were shaping up i messed up on which didnt help my mood lol. the guys on the bigger boards were catchin em further out and able to link to the inside, they got some good rides. included whoever i saw up and riding as much as i could. it was a beautiful day - the water warmed up and sun shined the whole time with comfortable air temp.
