BNSF rescues Amtrak Coast Starlight PART 2 Ft. FRA car

Описание к видео BNSF rescues Amtrak Coast Starlight PART 2 Ft. FRA car

When something goes wrong, we often hear the subtle refrain, “Just don't let that happen again.” It would appear Amtrak Seattle didn’t get that the first time. As one can assume, another “bad ordered”/inoperatable P42 was assigned to lead Amtrak 11 of March 19, 2023 from Seattle to Los Angeles, but was removed and replaced with a needed rescue engine, BNSF 6716, a GE ES44C4. A day later, March 20, 2023, BNSF 6716 arrived into Emeryville, California an hour late. Shortly before arriving into Oakland/Jack London Square, the Coast Starlight then entered Amtrak’s Oakland yard. Many assumed the BNSF engine was to be removed, but something else was added instead at the rear, DOTX 221. The FRA (Federal Railroad Administration) inspection car. After a hour wait and giving way to other company traffic, BNSF 6716 was back on the move, street running down Jack London Square. Later catching it in the Newark and the South San Jose area.
A huge shoutout to viewers Dionice, Grayson, Daxton & Marlow for the video of BNSF 6716 going through Morgan Hill.
