Union Budget 2022:Sustainable Development In Focus As Government Aim To Reduce Infrastructural Waste

Presenting the Union Budget 2022-23, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated that the government's action plan is ready, which aims at curtailing the infrastructural waste, which includes electronic waste, used oil waste, and toxic and hazardous waste. She further stated that the government's focus will now be upon technological up-gradation, logistics, and issues of infrastructure. Biomass pallets will be co-fired in thermal power plants, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions and promoting the economic condition of farmers. The government is now focusing on sustainable growth in each sector.
