Gia nhập Amazon từ năm 2015, ông Gijae từng làm việc tại 3 quốc gia gồm Hàn Quốc, Singapore và Việt Nam, ông cũng là một trong những nhân sự đầu tiên đặt nền móng cho Amazon tại các quốc gia này. Hiện nay, ông đang đảm nhiệm vai trò quản lý và điều hành đội ngũ nhân sự và các dự án của AGS Việt Nam; tuyển dụng và quản lý đối tác nhà bán hàng tại Việt Nam tham gia thương mại điện tử xuyên biên giới cùng Amazon.

Trong 2 năm đầy khó khăn bởi đại dịch, Amazon Việt Nam đối diện thách thức và từng bước xây dựng đội ngũ với mục tiêu hỗ trợ đối tác khai thác tiềm năng xuất khẩu qua TMĐT để tiếp cận khách hàng toàn cầu hiệu quả và nhanh chóng. Ngoài ra, Amazon còn tập trung phát triển Học viện Nhà bán hàng bằng tiếng Việt trang bị kiến thức về TMĐT xuyên biên giới và chương trình bán hàng toàn cầu qua Amazon.

Since joining Amazon at 2015, Gijae Seong has worked in Korea, Singapore and Vietnam. He was one of the first employees to set the foundation for Amazon in these countries. Currently, Seong is working as Amazon Head of Global Selling Vietnam, in charge of program development, seller account management, and seller recruiting for Amazon’s global e-commerce in Vietnam.

During two years of the pandemic with many challenges, Amazon Vietnam has gradually built a team whose goal is to help their partners exploit the potential of export via Amazon’s global marketplace to reach international customers more efficiently and quickly. In addition, Amazon also focuses on developing a Vietnamese-speaking seller centre, which provides knowledge on cross-border e-commerce and a global sales program.
