How to make gesso

How to make traditional gesso.
You will need
Rabbit skin glue, gilders whiting (this is chalk, calcium carbonate) a couple of airtight containers, digital scales, a sieve or two, a piece of muslin, a spoon and a brush. A microwave or a bain marie.
This gesso is for antique restoration, not for canvases as it's not flexible and will crack. (For canvasses use acrylic gesso.)
