Tonight I’m scooting into Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort for their famous dinner buffet—and yes, it’s totally accessible by mobility scooter!

From the resort entrance to the restaurant, it’s all smooth, wide walkways—no steps, no tight turns. The Cast Members welcomed me right at the door and helped find a table with plenty of space for my scooter but I park outside with the other scooters and strollers.

The buffet area is easy to navigate—some counters are a bit high, but the Cast Members were more than happy to help plate anything I couldn’t reach.

And let’s talk food—peel-and-eat shrimp, carved meats, pasta, salads, and tons of sides. Don’t miss the seafood mac and cheese or the warm Parker House rolls. I am not going to lie, this place is not my favorite. There are other better restaurants that I would recommend like Beaches and Cream, Ale and Compass or Yachtman’s Steakhouse in this resort. We likely won’t be back but it doesn’t mean there is anything wrong. It just means it isn’t our taste.
