No. King James intentionally mistranslated the Hebrew.
King James created his book so he can better control the 6 million peasants so having a submissive passive hero served him well. That's also why he branded the hero as "Jesus" instead of his God given name "Yeshua" which is the only word in the world that means salvation.
In the Original YESHUA Testament, Yeshua said:
הסב לחיך השני לו — respond by facing him with your other side.
That doesn’t mean let him hit you again.
In Hebrew idiom, it means stand your ground — confront evil without becoming it.
King James softened it into weakness, teaching believers to absorb abuse.
But Yeshua’s real message was controlled strength — moral power without revenge.
And remember — this is the same Yeshua who flipped tables in the Temple 3 times, driving out corruption with authority.

A man who challenged priests, kings, and hypocrisy.

A rebel for divine justice, not a preacher of blind submission.

King James shaped obedience for controlling his 6 million peasants paying taxes.

Yeshua taught courage for liberation.
