Swati Tiwari Srivastava born in a musical family where her father Advt. A.B. Tiwari and elder father late S.B Tiwari was a well known tabla player, in chhattisgarh. She learnt basics of Indian Classical Music Vocal from Guru Gopal Das ji in C.G and Pt. Ramshankar Singh ji in Varanasi.
Now, she is a disciple of Vidushi Shashwati mandal ji, a renowned female representative artist of Gwalior gharana. Under her guidance, Swati is learning the deep nuances of Gwalior gharana style of khayal gayaki , Tarana, Tappa, Tap-khayal etc.
She has been Awarded with B-High grade from All India Radio, Akashwani, Delhi, "Swarn Mayur Samman" - International award, "Best Female Singer" National award, 1st prize in Khayal gayaki, senior category from Sangeet Natak Academy, UP.
-BPA and MPA from BHU (Gold Medalist), JRF awardee, Persuing PHD from DU.
She performed in many places like Varanasi, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Indore, Dhadwad, Lucknow etc.
