Lykke Li plays her new song "Over" live in concert at The Warfield in San Francisco, California on September 28, 2022. Over appeared on her fifth studio album, Eyeye (2022), "an immersive audiovisual album" with accompanying visual loops. Lykke Li is a dream pop singer-songwriter and model from Ystad, Sweden. Joining her onstage were Lars Skoglund (drums), Anders Stenberg (guitar), Esther Lennstrand (keyboards/vibraphone), Björn Yttling (keyboards), and Darrion Gallegos (dance). The show's theatrical production was designed by Nick Verstand and the dance choreography was done by Imre & Marne Van Opstal.

Lykke Li will release Eyeye (pronounced Eye) on May 20, an immersive audiovisual album. Lykke’s most intimate project to date, Eyeye reunites her with longtime collaborator Björn Yttling, their first time working together since 2014’s acclaimed I Never Learn. Recorded from her bedroom in Los Angeles and mixed by Shawn Everett, Eyeye is Lykke’s attempt to compress a lifetime of romantic obsession and female fantasy into a hyper sensory landscape. The album is accompanied by seven visual loops: together, the music and visuals reveal a grander narrative, a story about the eternally returning cycles of love, addiction, relapse and obsession (the album’s title and running time are palindromic). Eyeye is not a return to form. It is Lykke’s final confrontation with the form that has defined her career. It’s a breakup with the breakup album, and the singer’s magnum opus.
